House with terrific fjord view
Une maison indépendante avec une vue magnifique sur le Sognefjord. A quelques centaines de mètres de la maison, vous découvrirez des montagnes majestueuses et entendez les sons des chutes d'eau rugueuses. C'est un endroit vraiment unique, et une occasion unique de découvrir le célèbre Nærøyfjord classé par l'UNESCO dans toute sa splendeur!
Pour les adultes ayant des intérêts musicaux, un piano à queue pourrait être à disposition!
Pourtant, il est central, à quelques pas du centre de Gudvangen, du ferry et des bus touristiques. L'été est en haute saison, et beaucoup d'entre nous réservent une année à l'avance. L'emplacement vaut également la peine d'être connu au printemps, en automne et en hiver, car à quelques minutes en voiture de certaines des meilleures stations de ski en Scandinavie, Voss et Myrkdalen.

We had the pleasure of staying here for a week last July during our road trip with our two daughters. The check-in was incredibly warm with a lovely welcome from Asbjørn. He took us upstairs with our luggage and enthusiastically, yet calmly, told us all about the cottage and the surroundings. And we were speechless; we were deeply impressed by the spectacular view, the location of the cottage, and the rugged yet gentle nature. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Asbjørn was a very good, attentive, and pleasant host. The role of host fits him perfectly, and he truly does it with love—you can just feel it. We realized more and more how lucky we were to have stayed literally at one of the most beautiful natural spots in the world. Highly recommended! Thank you, family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gudvangen. The home is beautifully decorated as it felt as if it was a Norwegian grandmother's home. There were waterfall and fjord views from the home. It is located on a hill so you need to be able to walk up and down the hill for groceries and transportation. We are in our 70's and had no problems with the walk. We did not have a car so Asbjorn helped us with our luggage to and from the ferry. Ferry ride from Flam to Gudvangen is magical. Excellent bus connections to Flam and Voss. Flam Welcome Center was very helpful in arranging activities. There are a lot of activities in the area. Gudvangen is very relaxing compared to Flam. The grocery store in Gudvangen is well supplied. We highly recommend this home.

Easy drive from Bergen, met our host at arranged place, who took us up to the house. Exactly as in the photos. The most spectacular view even in the Norwegian rain!, of which it does quite a lot. However the next day brilliant sunshine and we walked to Bakka along the side of the fjord. Then back to the very squeaky but comfortable house. The host was charming and we wished we would have spent longer chatting. But our week ended and on to our next Norwegian house.
