À propos de cette location de vacances
3 bedroom house in the heart of a Norman village. Cottage in Normandy.
Our property has two houses, the main house which is not the subject of trade and a smaller house. The property we rent is a delightful 3 bedroom cottage style house in the large garden of our main residence. Bright, comfortable and completely renovated in 2015, it will welcome you back from your walks in the Normandy countryside. Next to the house we rent, is a traditional barn used as a summer dining room. It is equipped with a large barbecue, heated and decorated with antique brass. It is the perfect setting for long convivial meals with family or friends. You can also enjoy the use of a swimming pool shared with the owners who will preserve your privacy. The swimming pool is in the garden adjacent to the cottage. It measures 8 meters by 4 meters with a constant depth of 1.40 meters. It is heated and enclosed within a partially retractable structure. The cottage is situated in the heart of a traditional Norman village, next to the village square which has a bakery, well stocked grocery store and a restaurant. There is also a cozy wine bar to remind you that you are in France

We had the most amazing family holiday at Martine and Vincent's property. For many years now we have ceased to buy things as Christmas presents for our family but rather we take them on holiday to give them memories. We have done many trips to France with the family and in 50 years of marriage we have ourselves also stayed in many properties in France. We can say without a shadow of doubt that this is nicest place we have stayed by a country mile.Martine and Vincent are the kindest and most gracious hosts and although they live in the big house adjacent to the gite they were in no way intrusive but always there to help if needed and always out early to clean the pool ready for our use during the day. It is evident that they have put huge amounts of thought into the way they have set up the property which is beautifully set out, comprehensively equipped and really has everything you need for a relaxing and stress free holiday. Everything about the property exuded quality and attention to detail (particularly impressed with the underground cave)Th property is set in the picturesque village of Harcourt ( do try the restaurant in the village - you will not be disappointed!) and is set in a beautiful region with easy access to nearby towns, supermarkets and places of interest. The photos on the listing really do not do this place justice. The property represents excellent value for money and if you book (which we heartily recommend that you do) it will exceed your expectations

The pictures don't do the property justice, the pool and covered seating area is wonderful, the rooms are furnished and decorated to a very high standard, everything that you need is supplied.
