Best Western Plus LaCrescent - LaCrosse

We stayed here for the La Crosse Oktoberfest so prices everywhere are higher, thus the ding for value. This hotel felt almost like new and offered lovely public areas to relax in, an on-site restaurant/bar and easy access from which to drive to La Crosse. The hotel also offered a free hourly shuttle to the fest grounds, but we did not take advantage of that perk. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Since it was Fall, complimentary La Crescent apples were offered in the lobby area. The bed was very comfortable and we didn’t hear any noise from the surrounding rooms or the busy highway out front (although we were in the back of the hotel). I would not hesitate to stay here again.

My only complaint would be the coffee. It didn’t taste good whether from the pump thermos or the machine to make “special” coffees.

New, clean, good value, nice staff, modern, beautiful setting.

Conveniently located.

Location

The hotel is a pet friendly hotel and we knew that, but our room smelled like stale, wet dog
