We loved our stay. It was during the heat wave so the pool was a god send.. We were a party of three adults so needed a two bed property with two ensuite bathrooms and a heated pool. - Not easy to come across. This Old house is very well equipped in a traditional French style and is well maintained. The thick walls keep the house relatively cool. The pool area is great with its level decked sun bathing area and good quality sunbeds and brolly. Situated in a small hamlet in a very pretty area close to the river Dordogne. There are no facilities in the hamlet but it is only a short drive to St. Souzy which has a couple of restaurants/ bars and two convenience stores for day to day supplies. There are some beautiful towns in easy reach on fabulous driving roads - NO potholes here !!Parking was secure and easy on the gated drive. There is a lovely outdoor dining area under the shade of an old vine. Highly recommended. Thank you our hosts Jerome and Kay

We really enjoyed our stay here, for the most part. The property is a comfortable, lovingly updated house in a good location for getting to many of the area attractions. It is accurately described in the listing, Jerome is a helpful, speedy communicator, and the pool is a great recent addition. And the house and area information provided in the "house book" is probably the best we have encountered in 30 years of renting holiday properties from owners. However, a couple of things which may not be problematic for most were a bit tricky for us. We consider ourselves animal lovers; we put some of the supplied food out regularly while we were there, and enjoyed watching the antics of the kittens. However, if we opened the window on the ground floor, we had kittens on the kitchen counter. If we tried to eat in the beautiful outside area, we had kittens going after our plates. Note that I specified "kittens". This will probably not be an issue when they get older and have learned some manners. The other aspect that turned out to be more of a problem than we anticipated was the absence of wifi. (This was no surprise--it is clearly spelled out in the property listing.) We thought that we would be fine with the data service on our mobiles, but unfortunately the coverage was very spotty. This was mostly just an irritation, but became more of an issue when we had to try to resolve a major issue with our accomodations for the following week. We ended up parked in the square of nearby St-
