Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely property. The house is spacious with a nice open layout and beautifully decorated with interesting artful touches. There is plenty of outdoor porch and deck space for gathering. The sunset views over the water were wonderful. We had a wonderful time at the house and exploring the town. The beach is not too far, and I'd highly recommend the lighthouse.

I loved staying at the Katydid. I was there this past weekend with a good friend. The house was very clean and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, etc. The beds were very comfortable. The sunset view from the top deck was perfect!

Great house for a girls’ get together!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful and the views were beautiful from the upper levels but the overgrowth in front of the Marsh made it hard to see the water, while sitting down in the lower level. There was no actual water access which was very disappointing. The furniture was way too uncomfortable to sleep, also a previous reviewer noted a very uneven bed, which had not been fixed. There were lots of games and books, and the kitchen was well equipped, No grill outside and no extras for the beach, but I knew that before coming. The house would be nice for a big family because of the size,could sleep 10 but they do not alow more than 6. Felt very secluded, alot of overgrowth on road to the house, but then opened up to several houses.
