The staff were so attentive and very welcoming. Room was superb with some lovely touches. Also on a personal note the Purity ale was exceptional. Breakfast was of very high standard with plenty of options

Limited car parking but not really a gripe as we managed to find parking at very reasonable price near racecourse which was only 10 minute walk

Central location, lots of history Lovely staff always gave us great service

Very small room. I should have booked twin room as we can’t sleep in the small double. Car park anxiety. Nowhere to park nearby if you couldn’t park in the hotel
