Everything, the property has everything you need, stunning building, perfect surrounding and ideal of your looking to do the D Day beaches as your so well placed for them. The manager/owner came and checked if we needed anything and was so lovely.

Nothing at all, it’s perfect.

Super friendly and helpful host met us at the property. The accommodation exceeded our expectations - real french rustic charm with a lovely garden and even a tennis court! Warm, comfy rooms and excellently equipped kitchen and utility area. 35 minute walk into Bayeux and easy 20 minute drive to the beach. Pet friendly - especially the huge enclosed garden!

Nothing.

It was private, clean comfortable, and the inside was spectacular. The bathroom tile artistry was incredible.

Location was close to everything that we wanted to see

The location of the property is excellent. Close to the Normandy coast, the city of Bayeux and a plethora of supermarkets and stores. The property itself is secluded from the main street and provides ample privacy for lounging in the beautiful garden. The lovely garden is this property’s absolute selling point. It is a wonderful place to relax, read a book or enjoy each other’s company.

The hygiene standards in the kitchen and bathroom were definitely subpar. We found mouse droppings spread over several kitchen cabinets - absolutely unacceptable and points towards a lack of regular inspection/deep clean. Frankly, the general state of the property, including the cleanliness, made us wonder about the trustworthiness of prior glowing reviews. Several light switches and electrical sockets malfunctioned, with some of the switches falling back into the wall when touching them. The furniture was dated and not all that comfortable. This place has a ton of potential, it’s a true shame it is not well tended.
