Beautiful Suite TAMAYO in the famous Mariscal District! Best place in Quito

It is ideally situated in the very heart of Quito near the business center and French Embassy, Casa de la Cultura, the ancient El Ejido Parc, Catholic University, internationals hotels and at a walking distance of the historical center . My brand and secured new suite has a privileged view from the 8 th floor on some of the most beautiful 18th century houses which are a Cultural Patrimony. Very bright, and sunny which provides a warm atmosphere it is stylishly decorated in a french way with a touch of etnic Polynesians ornaments.
You will find not only a full equipped suite but also the cosiness of my home when I come back to Quito twice a year from Tahiti . I have seen to it that it is in a very safe condo, guarded 24h/7 and of course in the quietest neighborhood of the pintoresc Mariscal District. You can get your groceries a few blocks away to the supermarket, buy some handicrafts at the 'Mercado Artesanal' just down the street or visit the museum of the 'Casa de la Cultura' which also have theaters and movies or even have some spanish classes at the 'Cathoic University' at only 2 blocks away . During the day or evening enjoy strolling the Mariscal District plenty of coffees shops, restaurants, bars, discos etc...
At the same time, one block away from a main avenue you can catch a taxi , bus or a trolley bus very easily .
Very good High speed internet, TV plasma with NETFLIX for free ,
key cards for elevator are provided . Parking and private place available for guest in the same building. Coffee maker, toaster. blender, iron table, washer etc...

We absolutely loved our month long stay here! The apartment itself is perfect for two and had everything we needed to live comfortably. It was also very quiet at night, as it is on the 8th floor and the windows are noise dampening, and the neighborhood itself is quiet at night. We also really enjoyed the wonderful view with the large windows!
We really liked the location of the apartment in La Mariscal. Very nice neighborhood to walk around, and a great park nearby that we spent a lot of time in as well. Also within walking distance to a large grocery store and many smaller neighborhood shops.
It's also a great location in Quito to access all parts -- the historic center, La Carolina area, and the teleferique were all very nearby with a short Uber ride.
The host was also very kind and responsive!
We couldn't recommend this place more and hope to be back one day ourselves!

Very nice and quiet location. Modern building with gated security. There’s 2 small restaurants next to the building and a small grocery store.
Host comunicantes and responds immediately and has others to help.

We had a wonderful 2 1/2-month stay at Tamayo. Cathy has beautiful taste and the apartment is charming, filled with sunlight, and quiet in a lovely residential neighborhood within a short walk of public transportation, restaurants, and Supermaxi for groceries. Tamayo is right next to La Casa de la Cultura and is only a 10-minute walk from Plaza Foch. Its less than 3 minutes from the Mercado with alpaca ponchos, blankets, scarves, as well as Panama hats, leather goods, and every folk art treasure you could find at Otavalo. Cathy was a dream host. I will definitely stay at Tamayo when I return to Quito.
