Hotel Roemer Amsterdam

Great position close to trams ,and easy walking distance to most parts of Amsterdam. Room was spacious and modern. Bed was really comfy. Friendly staff.

Everything went well, the breakfast was lovely. The staff were great. Great location next to the park. Overall 10/10

There was nothing I didn't like, the only slight negative was that the bins being taken from the garden through the eating area at breakfast time.

The location was very convenient yet quiet - easy tram access from the central station, and near the beautiful Vondel park or museum district. The value for money was really good. The room was quite large for Amsterdam. Bathroom was gorgeous with a nice bathtub. The bed was comfortable, lighting was OK, and wifi worked fine. Overall, I was very satisfied with the stay here.

The breakfast was not worth 20 euros; they had boiled vegetables, but particularly the fruit / juice selection, and to a lesser extent ham / cheese / pastry were disappointing. The room was good, but the corridor appeared a little run-down and not spotless. Bathroom was gorgeous but the shower was not easy to use with old valves.

Location - amazing, very close to all the interesting museums, overall center. Very quiet street Staff -nice and friendly. Breakfasts - good for a short stay Beds - nice.

Bathroom is the worst. Seriously - this has slpoiled the whole experience. Something that used to be designed as a black marble, is all covered with whitish stains and looks filthy and very unpleasant. Idea of having both a shower and a bath in the same bathroom - amazing. Except of the fact that the shower doors are a knee-level, which means that all the water splashing at the bottom is splashing overall the whole bathroom floor. This really requires attention - overall the hotel is really nice. But just because of this bathroom experience I wuold not recommend it.
