Carlton Tel Aviv Hotel – Luxury on the Beach

Location. Room.

The location is perfect, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great 😊 And the most important point the staff had try to help as much as they can. We mainly would like to point out front desk manager - (Nissim I think) had try and assist us more then expected 🙏

Unfortunately the parking is no at the hotel property, and the valet service is additional 500 ILS. The Spa don’t have a room for couples treatment. The other point is that we had been communicating with the hotel reservation prior our arrival and requested an upgrade to the room and the service including SPA plan and entering to the business lounge, unfortunately the upgrade was not noted when we were arrive to the hotel and we had to reschedule and return to front seat for their assistants , we need to point out that front desk manager had try all his best to help us - and this in to so trivial

Great room, quality linens and mattresses, good lighting with switches easy to reach from bed. Staff is friendly, professional and helpful, especially the manager, Ophir Pool on top floor has great views, full bar with waiter service and plenty of shaded area if you want it. Hotel is literally just steps from beach and iconic Gordon Beach Lap pool ( 50 meters long), as well as 2 tiki bars on the beach. We have stayed in 3 other hotels on this stretch of Tel-Aviv beachfront. Carlton is by far the best

The Staff did their best to help the guests; The Breakfast was very good and had a very nice variety of vegetables and pastries, cheeses and fruits; The Hotel's location is excellent, close to the beach & bus stations if you want to take a trip to other parts of the Tel-Aviv metropolitan. The Bed is comfortable.

The Hotel shows it's age, very dated facilities and rooms (at least the one we had), The Rooms looks like it is stuck in the nineties and had a small screen old Flat TV, The Bath\Shower is Tiny, I could not stand in it without touching the wall and protected glass (I'm 5'11", 210 pounds), The view from the rooms that are not facing the sea is absolutely miserable, looking at old houses and buildings across the road, The breakfast is served outside of the hotel in a restaurant-like facility on the beach (a minute's walk) across the boardwalk, not inside the hotel, which is uncomfortable, The Parking is Super Expensive - they charge 400 NIS for 2 nights + an Extra 50 NIS if you wants to move the car to go out and come back to park - which is just rude, we waited for a long time to get back into the parking spot after we went out for dinner in a restaurant, The Receptionist wanted to take a 1,000NIS Stand-By bill PER 24 HOURS in the hotel "for Extras" before we got the room - we had to speak to the manager in order to change that... Do yourself a favor - pay a bit more and go to the HILTON Hotel is you like the Beach front of even better - check out the other marvelous NEW and Modern Hotels Tel-Aviv Has To offer in the Rothchild area or around Jaffa, it's a better idea.
