Résidence-Hotel Le Quinze Grand Place Brussels

The location on Grand Place and view from the window was superb. Lovely to be in the room and hear the bustle below but at night with the windows shut you couldn't hear any noise. The room and bathroom were surprisingly large with lots of storage space. So close to many attractions and restaurants. The hotel is need of some updating but the room seemed to be freshly painted. Although there isn't always someone on reception they are easily summoned using phone or whatsapp.

The bathroom does need updating and per management will be done in the next couple of years. As elderly guests the bath/shower was awkward to get into and a grab bar near he mirror would be a help until the full upgrade is done

The location is in the heart of The Grand Place.

This is not an easy location to get to. The square inside the Grand Place is closed to vehicles after 10am. If you take a taxi you will still need to walk with your luggage on cobblestones. Same for other transportation methods. We had a basic room with no view. We weren't planning on spending much time in the room, so no need for added expense. But, a picture on the wall would have been nice or some color in the room. The hallway and room looked very much like an institution. There was only someone at the desk in the morning, and when they expected someone to check. If you needed something, they left a number to call, or contact thru WhatsApp. It was just very different from a normal hotel room.
