Aquaworld Resort Budapest

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Excellent Aqua Park and SPA! Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good and tasty food.

I was missing the option to prepare coffee in the room.

2 bedroom apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfort. the beds. showers, soundproof and towels were excellent. Cleanliness was OK. Water park was very nice, clean, many slides of different kinds and well secured by attentive staff. but - during weekdays not all sides were operating (to our kids' disappointment, the more "extreme" ones). Breakfast was good in variety, mediocre in quality. Dinner was uneatable. Dinning room's staff was not kind and not efficient. Location - calm and nice. accessible to downtown by public transport which in Budapest is excellent. Mind that bus line 230, which has a stop right near the hotel, only drives few times a day, but in 5-10 minutes walk distance, there are many other options way more frequent (like bus lines 30, 122). All in all, a good stay.

The dining room - especially at Dinner. The fact that many slides were not operating during weekdays.

The apartment was very expensive but very comfortable. The reception staff was pleasant. The facilities are ok.

We arrived at midnight, and even though we prepaid half board, there was no food waiting for us, not even a sandwich. The hotel is very far from everything, so we starved until breakfast time. The dinner on a Saturday night was very poor. Too many waiters just chatting to each other and not helping the guests. No slippers for the stay. Massage therapist uneducated in treatments, pressing over the bones, it still hurts. The staff in the hotel was ok, reception had pleasant staff, but the bar staff in the lobby looked like they just burried a family member. Extremely rude. Not once. Every day. Need training in a guest service. Overall, very unhappy with the food and bar staff.
