We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here, we used it as a base to explore Florence and the surrounding areas. If you arrive at the main railway station the hotel is a 4 stop ride on the T1 heading towards Careggi Ospedale and get off at Muratori Stazione Statuto, the cost is €2 one way. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk, from there, there is a key code to get in which is sent to you and you get a door key when checked in. The building is the normal 4 storey continental terraced town house converted into an hotel. There is no lift in the building, the floors are either stone or wood, the ceilings are high, we loved it as it was what we expected, Tuscan city charm with a boutique like vibe. Our room faced the street, there is some street noise at times, just normal life as the hotel is on a residential street. Due to the high ceilings , the stone and wooded floors in the hotel we could hear the click of the front door being open and closed but for us it really was not an issue. The room was clean and tidy , we had a large double bed (two singles joined together, there was also another single bed in the room. There was a kettle and a TV plus a mini bar, the breakfast area was in a room next to the reception. For the breakfast it was all buffet self serve, there was probably the largest selection of cakes , bread pastries, salad etc, that we have ever come across in a hotel of this size.There was also a cooked choice of scrambled eggs, bacon and chipolatas , or hard boiled eggs. We really enjoyed the breakfast and it did set you up for the day. To get back into the city centre get the T1 tram heading for Villa Costanza, the trams are really frequent during the day and it really is a short journey to the city. We would like to thank all of the staff at the hotel , we really enjoyed our stay and you were all so friendly and helpful. We would gladly use this hotel again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

There was not anything that we did not like, everything was as we expected it to be, in fact we felt that the interior was more grand than we expected, it was charming.

The bed was comfortable, and it was nice having a hot tub in the room.

It was a little far from some of the attractions however, I did not really learn how to ride the metro until the last couple of days I was there if I known about that earlier, it would’ve been a lot easier.

Nothing. Small room with a very soft mattress which caused back pain. Dirty walls.

There was a strong odour coming from the bathroom which wasnt sorted with anything. I asked for an air freshner to minimize it but the accomodation didnt care to provide.
