Hotel Moosburger Hof

My family always stays here when visiting!

We live in the town and we were staying so that out family could stay at our home since they had an infant and a 5year old. We have always wanted to try the hotel but never had the opportunity. Our experience for 6 nights was exceptional, everything was very nice. The breakfast was wonderful; fresh, nice selection and nice quality. The room was clean and nice, the only thing is we prefer no carpeting (it was clean and well-maintained) it appears that the management knows about this. The front desk-Leonora and Mohamed were both friendly, professional and very helpful in every way possible. Please think about removing the carpets, a bit noisy from the bakery but not too bad when windows were closed.

With its handy central location and pleasant surroundings, well decorated room and modern bathroom, and underground parking, this hotel had all the chance to be an excellent find. However...

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was that it advertised itself as having parking, but it cost 9 euros, which is more than I paid in a parking meter last time I was in this town. The room was cold and damp when I arrived, and the heating system, with unhooked thermostats and radiators turned to zero, looked weird. I turned the thermostats up, but the room only warmed up in the morning when it was time to leave. When I wanted to leave, there was no one manning the reception for a long time, because all the staff was preoccupied in the breakfast room. When I mentioned the cold room, I was told off by the management, as if it was my fault. I would have been quite content with a brief apology, in line with good manners. At breakfast I wasn't offered any warm food and I would have preferred to serve myself with coffee.
