Very relaxing great place to unwind. Lovely location . Plenty to do if you don’t want to drive.
As it wasn’t full it was difficult at times to find bar staff you had to locate them if you wanted to place an order. I also think if you don’t want to eat in the restaurant that there should be a Lounge menu served up to 9.00pm if you just want a sandwich etc

The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble at all, including serving Rice Krispies for dinner! Our free upgrade was lovely too especially as it was our honeymoon. Thank you for all you did to make our day so special.

The bed was comfortable and the castle and grounds were mainly nice.
The food was overpriced and really below standard. We cancelled our dinner reservation for the second night as it was really bad. The interior particularly the spa is dated. We had to wait for literally 20 minutes to be shown to our room whereas we could have just been given a key. We have been before but sadly we won't come back after this trip.
