The location is excellent (especially for golf) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I felt that I got a bargain price-wise compared to other places in the area.
There are limited parking spaces in the hotel car park although plenty of on street parking was available. Breakfast was pleasant but I would have liked most of the cooked items to be crispier!

I was very impressed by how aware staff were of dietary requirements for coeliacs. There was a note against my name, both the manager and the staff in the dining area were aware of who I was and were proactive at ordering in gluten free food ahead of time; they were also aware of risk of cross contamination and made me aware of how they avoided this (separate toaster) which was very welcome and reassuring. Also very friendly when I arrived.

Breakfast was just the usual buffet breakfast but had to wait quite a while on fried egg being replenished. Dining room was basic too with very little atmosphere. Room was basic and only a single bed which was all that was available at the time of booking.
A single bed.. unfortunately all that was available at time of booking. Parking very restricted and not many spaces. Hotel seemed quite dull, not much going on.
