We absolutely loved our stay at the wonderful Lion & Pheasant hotel. The property itself is beautifully old and full of historical charm, yet it remains exceptionally clean and comfortable throughout.
What truly sets this place apart is the team. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
The dining was another major highlight. Both the great breakfast and the delicious evening meal exceeded our expectations, offering fantastic quality.
It was a truly lovely experience, and we cannot recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

Clean, looked very nice. Too hot in summer. We had the windows open which meant it was very noise on the Main Street. We were given 2 fans to help us sleep.
Friendly, helpful staff and close to the old town.
Good breakfast eve. Though we had to wait a little while for it.
