Hôtel Locarno Nice

On the positive side: the staff was friendly, tea and coffee were available 24/7, and the location was good.

Our stay started with a disappointment. Although we had booked a Deluxe Room, as soon as we checked in, we noticed that we had been given a room that looked, at best, like a Classic Room. The photos are very misleading. I suspect they probably have only 2–3 rooms that actually look like the ones shown in the pictures. That being said, we went to reception and asked for a different room. We were offered another one that was just as small, but at least it had a balcony. A small improvement. The furniture was old and damaged, the curtains were dirty, and some of the windows were broken. The breakfast was exactly the same every day. It might be fine if you stay for 2–4 days, but after 7 days, as we did, you eventually start to hate everything that is served there.

Location was great, only a few minutes to the beach and supermarket. Bed was very comfortable.

Room was small but was ok. Shower very tight, not much space to move.

It was all very well and I will be back there soon!!!

Everything is good

The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were always willing to assist us and provided good service during our stay.

However, the room was quite small and the soundproofing was poor. We could clearly hear the television from the neighboring room. The staff kindly helped us by calling the guests next door, and they lowered the volume afterward, but this experience still showed the limited sound insulation of the hotel. The bathroom was also quite small. In addition, the air conditioning did not provide warm air even when we set it to 30°C. Since it was raining on the day we stayed, the room felt very cold, and we had to wear all of our thick clothes to keep warm.
