Great room, great staff, easy to get to.

Some of the bartenders seemed confused when some drinks were ordered.

Clean with polite staff and good location

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area, with plenty of greenery and parks nearby, little traffic noise, and relatively few people around. At the same time, it is close to a metro station, and there is also a good grocery store very nearby. For us, however, the main advantage was that the hotel is located in the same building as a hospital - the hospital was just two floors above our hotel room. Good is also that our room had a small kitchen. The pool at the top of the hotel (22nd floor) has a nice view.

The hotel building is very old (dating back to 1969), and this is noticeable, for example, in the condition of the balconies. The furniture and equipment are obviously newer, but they are also showing their age. The room looks nice, cozy, and relatively modern, but the furniture shows signs of wear, and, for example, the carpet in our room had several noticeable large stains. The bathroom drawer was broken, and the switch between filling the bathtub and using the shower worked very poorly. The room did have a kitchenette (just a sink, microwave, and two-ring stove), but there were absolutely no kitchen utensils, no cutlery, not even a single plate, nothing. There was also a leaflet in the room warning that smoking and cooking are prohibited. However, when we asked at reception, we were assured that we could cook, but only very carefully, because there is no extractor hood above the stove and there is a smoke detector very close at the ceiling above it. Another strange feature of the room was the way the light switches worked. They were wired very confusingly and apparently incorrectly. For example, from the right side of the bed, it was possible to control both bedside lamps independently (the right switch controlled the left lamp and the left switch controlled the right lamp...), while from the left side of the bed, only the left lamp could be controlled (the second switch did nothing). However, if the floor lamp was switched on at the same time, these switches suddenly had a different function. There are five switches on each side of the bed, and none of them are labeled or otherwise distinguishable. It is also a shame that although the hotel has saunas and a swimming pool, there are no bathrobes or slippers in the rooms. I also consider the value for money to be very poor. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to stay during Oktoberfest in Munich. The price was about three times higher than during other weeks, which is not justified by the quality of the hotel.
