It was a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good value and a good selection of hot and cold dishes. The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Great Italian restaurant just 3 minutes walk away. The old town centre of Bern was a 7 minute walk.

Liked how close it was to the train station and old town
Breakfast was underwhelming and was the worst compared to all other hotels I stayed at in Switzerland. Selection was so minimal. If you don’t get there between 7-8am then there is no more scrambled eggs prepared, chicken sausage, or little potato cakes, even though breakfast is til 10am. Where is the cold meat sliced selection, that’s cheap not having it and only one shell cheese station. Boiled eggs were also gone by 8am and I had to ask the staff to make more cause there isn’t a lot of selection to begin with.

Staff terrific, as was the breakfast. The rooms were quite small and modest, but had all you needed for comfort.
