Hotel St. Josef

A very lovely hotel, few minutes walk from the main station and yet in a quiet area with a lot of charm and very close to the old town. Rooms are very nicely decorated and arranged. The bed was fantastic. Very good breakfast with a delicious home made Bircher Muesli :). I am looking forward visiting again.

My room was facing a main busy road so not the best view but the hotel area is very nice. And the hotel is very quiet so it was not a problem. It would be nice to get a bottle of tap water in the room upon arrival.

Location, staff and very clean!

Excellent location to the train station, restaurants and the lake. The hotel worker was very welcoming. The included breakfast was very good, nice selection.

I didn't like the shower/tub. Difficult to climb up to it and inside of it especially when wet, and had to stay behind the small glass panel so that water wouldn't spray every where. it was awkward.

Location was excellent and very quiet for city centre. Attractive building.

The room was only set up for one, despite the hotel knowing we were a couple. Our flight was delayed, I informed hotel of our late arrival. We arrived after midnight, the receptionist practically knocked me backwards off the stone step when he came to let us in and then we discovered the room had only one towel and one single duvet! After chasing towels, pillows and duvet, we had to then wrestle pillow cases on and duvet cover ourselves. We were singularly unimpressed. Breakfast was uninspiring and basic - unless you like the self-serve semi-warm cooked stuff.
