Quiet and within walking distance to the town

Bedroom and bathroom needs refurbishing. Breakfast was good but staff not easily available for coffee/tea refills.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Excellent restaurant.

A bit far from centre of Augsburg (though easy and quick by bus).

Location is a bit out of the city.... About a 45min walk to city center. Traffic in Augsburg is terrible!

The hotel is not particularly attractive from the outside and it is not located in the best neighborhood. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the very calming and positive atmosphere inside. The owner has clearly put a lot of effort into creating a special environment. There is a salt grotto with large amounts of salt stones, which may be especially beneficial for people with allergies or bronchial issues. In the room, there was also a lamp with essential oils and an extremely comfortable orthopedic neck pillow, something you rarely find in hotels. Although these pillows are also sold by the hotel, the mattress itself was also exceptionally comfortable. I can honestly say that I rarely sleep this well in a hotel. And in the end, sleep quality is the most important factor for me when staying anywhere. For this point alone, the hotel deserves full marks.
