Great view of the lake and lovely room. Many of the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location which was a little out of town but well connected with public transport and there is a nice walking /cycling track around the lake.
As an independent traveller it felt like we were sometimes second fiddle to larger groups staying at the hotel. Restaurants and other facilities can get booked out by groups which if you are not aware of this can leave you having to find alternatives at the last minute.
One or two of the reception staff weren’t always helpful and friendly but fortunately other members of staff made up for this.

Staff friendliness and room cleanliness
The building has a very institutional feel about it and it didn't feel cosy in any of the communal areas. Some of the corridors are extraordinarily wide which means the rooms are quite small. Quite long queues and waiting time to check-in. The main breakfast room feels very tight around the buffet area and there was just enough width for 2 people. But it is a good location. When we checked out there was an attempt to charge us for something we never had but in the end it was accepted that we had nothing left to pay for. Overall, an ok place to stay but next time I will look elsewhere.
