Fantastic staff - whether at reception or in the dining room. Everyone was super helpful, friendly and keen to help with hiking and other plans. We chose to eat dinner at the hotel each night and the menu was sufficiently varied and well-priced. Lovely room - dual aspect and spacious, except for modest-sized bathroom. Memorable views of the mountains. Provided complementary taxi ride to the station with our luggage when we departed.
Would have liked to rate as 9.5!
As often, lack of good shelf space in the bathroom, but there was a useful caddy on the back of the door. Not about the hotel - but it was a bit of an uphill hike into Wengen and the station! Not far - but steep!

Great location. Friendly staff. Family owned , excellent breakfast. Owners made a point to make you feel welcome. Would rate 10/10 and would return.
Construction next door but not hotels fault but eyesore on arrival. We were informed and it did not cause any distress

Loved this little hotel in Wengen. Close to train ( short walk down the hill and back)
Food was fabulous, staff were lovely!
Even had a Wine/Cheese tasting night free ( nothing is free in Switzerland lol) learnt about their history, the team and cheese, who knew you could rent a cow and get your own cheese!
Lovely stay would be back in a heartbeat!

Perfect location. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Breakfast and dinner were both always fresh and delicious. We even had a wine and cheese tasting 1 night.We stayed at other hotels on our trip and they were good, but this one set the bar for sure. Thank you Daniel, Tomas, Sophie and staff. We hope to see you again. The picture of Jungfrau is from our balcony, by the way.
