Extremely helpful staff. Prompt service

Old style and very small bathrooms. The shower within the bathtub is a total no-no in today's time. The breakfast restaurant felt unclean.

The staff & the food.

Rooms are jaded, bathroom fittings aren’t as clean as they can be and should be, furniture (round table in the bedroom) needs polishing, the water temperature in the shower could have been a few degrees hotter and the AC system didn’t chill the room. Overall attention to detail, along with newer tech rooms that are better maintained, is what’s needed, to do justice to being a legendary Taj property in a superb location. Also, apart from the Italian beer “Peroni”, no imported beer was available in the Junction Bar. This is unacceptable at a 5 star hotel. You need to offer a better selection.

have stayed there many time,s but this time i was put in a room, which could have belonged to a 2 star hotel, in terms of quality and cleanliness. I never knew this beautiful hotel had such strange rooms too. They were booked for a show, so did not have any rooms, last night of my stay they gave me a free upgradation, but i paid for the 1st three days too. its a heritage property, but still they really need to improve in terms of fraying furniture
