Unique Hotel Post

Amazing and very stylish hotel with stunning minimalistic interior decorating.

The hotel is a cosy, all wood old post house right in the centre of Zermatt. It has had a makeover to offer modern facilities but the rooms and public areas all still have typical swiss old charm. The room we had was comfortable but not large. There was a balcony which looked over someone's roof terrace - no mountain view. The room was made up and cleaned every day which is a plus for me and sometimes is hard to find these days after Covid

The hotel has three restaurants of which it boasts. When we were there one was closed apart from the weekend and everyone needs to book in advance to get a seat in the other two. You cannot come back after a day's walk and believe you can just go down to dinner as the table are full of folk from other hotels and B&Bs. A timed reservation needed to be made at breakfast beforehand. As a result we could only eat once in any of the three during our six night stay as it took us three days to realise the position - the reception gave us no advance warning or offered to make a reservation for us.

Great location in the village. Within walking distance to the train station, restaurants, gondolas, Gornergrat rail, and shopping.

Le fait qu'après notre réclamation on nous est changé de place. Les cocktails du bar à cocktail étaient bons Les parties communes sont très agréables

Note chambre était situé sur la rue principale directement sous l'entrée de la discothèque de l'hôtel. Les gens qui sortaient de la discothèque sont restés dans la rue pour continuer à boire te chanter jusqu'à 5 heures du matin sans aucune intervention du personnel de l'hôtel. Sans aucun double vitrage nous nous sommes endormis à 5h30 du matin Petit déjeuner à améliorer
