The hotel has great facilities, especially the pools, and good restaurants. Our room was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed, and had sea views. The staff was always helpful. There are a number of good restaurants in walking distance. It is a short walk to the beach, where we found only few people by Mediterranean standards. Capo da Gata, and Almeria in general, is a great alternative to the overrun touristic centres.
We had a car and that made it easy to explore the region. Not sure if we could have done that with public transport, but that is not the hotels responsibility.

House keeping was poor had to request a bath stopper/ plug
Cracks at coving ceiling filled with filler but not painted to blend in
Open joints in shower unit at floor level
On balcony paint not cleaned off tile upstands timber balustrade covered in dust
In the three lifts the light fixture covered in Debra and dead insects
I was only there for one night
After paying for parking I had to return to reception three times to have the barrier lifted

"Très bel hôtel avec magnifique vue sur la mer.
Le personnel est très serviable (j'ai beaucoup apprécié la petite attention pour mon anniversaire). Même la voiture avait son propre garage.
