The view was outstanding, the food was also very good. Particularly recommend the Tapas served at lunchtime up to 5pm.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel and site generally were clean and tidy. We took advantage of the clay pigeon shooting and this was a lot of fun.
It is a good base to explore N Wales from but be warned the mountain passes to Bala are not for the faint hearted!
Small points that did not detract from our stay.
The tea pots at breakfast were dirty, tea stained. The room was a little tired with a drippy tap. Bed was small but we are used to a Super King at home .

The breakfast was good. Dinner very small portions with vegetables like one tiny carrot one stem of broccoli had to pay for extra chips to bulk the meal. There wasn't any starters that suited our taste.
I paid to have a superior room the view and having plenty of hot water were the only assets the leather chairs were very old and worn and most uncomfortable it wasn't a room to enjoy only the view. The furniture in lounges were very old and
need replacing it was not a place you would like to sit and have a drink after dinner.
