A spacious comfortable bedroom with a nice hot shower. The scottish breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. There was parking for my car and the hotel was in a good position on the sea front. The staff were helpful and very friendly.
My wife thought the pillows were uncomfortable and the slot machine in the dining area with it's flashing lights was very annoying.

Staff went the extra mile to accommodate my needs.
The location off the centre of town was fine and close to the beach.
The room was comfortable and clean.

Breakfast meal and staff very good.
Manager at reception unhelpful. Our booking was for "A King's Room". This was a room with absolutely no view, on the lower floor and very basic. There were notices stating we should not place toilet paper or wipes in the toilet pan as it could block the system and would incur a £50 payment. We should place these items in a plastic bag and into the bin! We have never seen such a disgusting system in a British establishment or in Europe. Also when I approached the manager after our arrival, as to the quality of our room, he stated that the decision to describe it as a "a King's Room" was in the hands of Booking.com and we should have booked directly with the hotel.
