Friendly helpful staff and room was clean. My room was in their new wing or extension wing which was confusing and difficult to get to which was a pain. My room also had no caffeinated coffee which for me is not an ideal start to the day. I also struggled to get my car charged as some of the chargers had petrol cars parked in them which the hotel seemed unwilling to do anything about.

We travelled for the Manchester Half Marathon and we couldn’t have had a better location right at the start/finish. The tram stop outside was great to get in to town and lots of close eateries for us.
The staff were very pleasant, and the lady dealing with the fire alarms and potential out booking of other guests was very level headed and clear.
The hotel even left water and bananas the morning of the run, great!
The room wasn’t serviced until late afternoon, which meant having to go to replenish our own teabags and milk. The room was semi-clean but plenty of dust on light fittings which isn’t great.
The beds weren’t comfortable. We both had quite hard beds with lumps in them, meaning our quality of sleep was poor, which wouldn’t usually bother us, except we were there for the run.
