Breakfast was excellent. Location was central and easy for what we were doing. Staff was very accommodating.

This hotel is in a fantastic central location in Oxford, right at the heart of the city. Very comfortable rooms - decor is "full on" but in keeping with the building and history of Oxford. Nice toiletries brand in the bathroom. Pleasingly low noise level for central location on a Saturday night. Helpful staff.

The hotel is exceptional and all staff were helpful and friendly. The guy on the door that took our bags and card keys the next morning was attentive and helpful. Telma on reception was simply lovely. The service we received in the Morse bar on arrival was swift and the evening in Alice restaurant on Monday 12th October was exceptional and friendly going the extra mile. We had a stunning stay for my daughter’s birthday.
Very minor points. I didn’t find things in the room until later. I didn’t know the tea and cups etc were in the cupboard under the TV and didn’t find the room service menu for breakfast until it was too late as this was also hidden away in the cupboard. The bed was comfy but the pillows were very soft and meant sleeping quite flat. To be fair though we could have asked for more pillows. Minor things. Overall a great stay.

Perfect location for the theatre and a lovely breakfast
Piped music throughout the day in the hotel is fine but not through the night! I got barely any sleep being kept awake by music playing! I am reluctant to book here again!
