St Brides Spa Hotel & Village Apartments

The staff upon arrival were a credit to the company, especially Faye who went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome and valued. The hotel restaurant was superb having stayed for one evening meal and one breakfast which we couldn't fault at all. The Spa was lovely.

The only downside to our break at the Hotel and Spa was that we booked the last 90 minute session in the Spa. We felt very rushed to leave the facilities as we weren't advised that getting showered and changed was part of the session time.

Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. New furniture in the apartment lounge and kitchen was good.

The rug in the apartment had numerous stains (possibly from dogs previously) wouldn’t expect this when paying over £300 per night. Beds weren’t very comfortable however the duvets and pillows were lovely.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay and had a lovely, relaxing break. One of the highlights was the beautiful, unobstructed view across the bay — it was wonderful to wake up to such a lovely outlook. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We were particularly impressed with the choice at breakfast. There was something to suit everyone, from delicious croissants and fresh and dried fruit to a really good selection of cooked breakfast options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Everything was fresh and well presented. Although we didn’t have an evening meal at the hotel, we did have a late luncheon and were extremely pleased with both the quality and the excellent choice of food available. There was a lovely variety to choose from, and everything we had was delicious and of a very high standard. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very well looked after. It was a lovely break, and we would be very happy to return.

The only real disappointment during our stay was that the lift was out of order. We do appreciate that the hotel had kindly contacted us a few days before our arrival to let us know, so we were aware of the situation in advance. We appreciate that this was an unavoidable issue, but having the lift available would certainly have made our stay more comfortable and relaxing.
