AC Hotel by Marriott Bratislava Old Town

Very clean, comfortable, great breakfast, kind and helpful reception desk

The area just outside the hotel was a bit sad/dodgy and not great to walk alone at night, but 5 minutes walk and you are in the historic center which is very charming

excellent selection for breakfast

Breakfast lots of choice as expected Weekend open until 11 Spotless hotel ... a two minute stroll to the old town so fab location, yet quiet.... Would happily stay there again

The location and that’s about it.

Terrible experience being in a room directly below the 24 hour gym. Room 541. As you can see by trip advisor plenty of others had the same problem. The noise was horrendous with people using the gym even after midnight. We complained at 1.00 am about the noise and told the manager would be informed. Went down the next day and the manager was not informed. However having spoken to the manager I was told its policy that the gym is open 24 hours so not a lot can be done. Very poor customer service. The gym affects eight rooms below with the treadmills and constant dropping of free weight’s Breakfast was poor. You can not be dropped off at the entrance of the hotel as it’s all pedestrian footpaths although that did not affect us. View from the window of an executive room was directly onto another high rise building.
