Adhi Jaya Hotel

Great location, directly across from the discovery mall and extremely close to waterbom. The hotel staff were polite and friendly, it was good value for money and the room service menu is quite extensive compared to other hotels. The pool is very nice and has the added bonus of a swim up bar which proved to be quite popular. We had 2 rooms, a pool access room for myself and my fiance and a balcony room for our 2 daughters, the balcony rooms are very space limited especially in the bathroom but it isn’t problem. I love that there are a couple of universal power points in each room so we could plug our AU plugs into the PowerPoints without the need for an adapter. The room was cleaned daily. And the staff were very helpful. It’s good quality for the price. And I would stay here again.

There was a gap in the top of the door that bugs and mozzies were getting in through. The curtains aren’t long enough and let the light in. I’m not sure if it was staff members or guests upstairs but there was a lot of stomping and banging every morning right above our room. We ordered a couples massage, we were asked if we wanted it in our room or the hut by the pool, we opted for the room not knowing that we were going to be laying on our bed with the massage therapists crawling around between us, this can’t have been good for them and it wasn’t pleasant for us either. Also my massage therapist was messaging on her phone throughout the massage. She had her phone on the bed near me, it would vibrate and she would answer it while just using one hand to rub the same spot in a circle so that it appeared she was still massaging. My partner enjoyed his massage and his therapist was good and applied good pressure, he’s a big guy 6foot 3 and solid and he said his massage was amazing and he almost fell asleep.

Pool, massage by the pool.
