Hotel 3 Könige

The location is superb in the heart of the old city close to the Cathedral and other important sites. Reception is only open for a limited time in the mornings but the lady who operated it could not be more helpful and friendly.

I was aware of breakfast would not be served. There are many nearby cafés. While there is no left luggage area I was advised that I could leave it in a hallway provided all items or value were removed. This is a little nerve racking but actually worked well because the front door is secured and access only available to go with a code.

A very good room with lots of space and 4-poster beds. Nice sitting area and looking out over the old town. Very clean. The owner was extremely friendly and very helpful. Really good value for money. Great location within short walk of the Cathedral which is amazing, plus lots of bakeries, cafes, restaurants and shops. The thermal baths are a short bus ride away and are a must!

Nothing we didn't like. There is some noise from nearby restaurants, but we closed the windows. More shelving and a rack in the shower would be useful. The bathroom towel rail is too high for many people to reach the top! These are small things. There is no tea/coffee making in the room. This would be nice, as there is a lovely seating area and coffee table. Again, a small point. Checkin is automated and requires use of a touch screen. There isn't a lift, so unsuitable for anyone with difficulties using stairs.

Location on walking streets to all major sites. Room was very very clean. Bed comfortable. Nice soft chair and a useful desk. Many great places to eat within 1 minute of the front door.

GPS took us a different 3 Kings hotel first. Finally found the right one. System to get key and enter building was like an escape room task but e got in. Staff were like ghosts. We saw someone briefly as we left. No blinds on 1 of the 2 windows so do way to darken the room. Noisy street when window was open (partying students) but room was hot and stuffy when the window was closed.
