Dog friendly hotel. Comfortable bed with a good nights sleep, breakfast basket good.
The accomodation is very dated. Electrical sockets needed by the bed. Not enough milk and coffee provided in the room.

My friend and I had comfortable, spacious rooms at Tricky's, with a nice rural outlook. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is quiet.
We were rather disappointed with the packed breakfast. Unfortunately no hot breakfast is available as the bar/restaurant area doesn't open until midday.
The hotel is located some distance from Redruth and Portreath, so a car or taxi is needed.

Breakfast looked awful so we didn’t touch it.
No breakfast would have been better.
Dinner the night before in the restaurant was very good.
