Right on the beach, pool was refreshing
Pool towels had holes in them, hotel felt empty. Room was quite small.

Our room was spotless, we had a room in the garden area which was perfect, very spacious, very comfy bed. Separate walk in shower which was great. Loved the swimming pool area, you had the best of both worlds.
The location was brilliant, pretty much on the beach which was never overly busy. Not far from restaurants. Plenty of tuk tuks available if you wanted to venture out more.
We had 2 amazing members of staff serving us during most breakfast times (both men wore Villa Tissa T-shirts.) They were always very welcoming, smiley and friendly and always spoke to us. Unfortunately I can’t remember their names but they were fantastic and deserve some recognition.
During our first stay here my partner was approached by a member of staff (who wore his own shirts) asking him for money, we had only been at the accommodation for 2 days. My partner said no which he accepted but then the day before Christmas Eve he was approached again by the same man asking if he would be tipping then the young (teenager) boys joined in saying it was Christmas and he should give money to them
as we are a rich family as we have phones and an iPad. To me this was very disrespectful to assume we had lots of money when in reality we’d both worked very hard to be able to afford our holdiday.
We returned to stay here again on January 1st the man who had asked for money previously completely blanked us until our last day where he then made extra effort with us by talking and taking our luggage to the taxi clearly expecting a tip. I think he needs to be reminded that that’s not how tips are earned.
If you’re not a fan of lizards, mosquitoes, spiders etc I would suggest having a room inside. We encountered a very big spider in a shower room which did put me off a little but luckily nothing else after that.

Location, beach. Room design is nice and simple.
The cheap room has NO WINDOW. It has window inside building hall. And it’s not mentioned anywhere. I changed to 50$ no AC room, and i find it little overpriced. Breakfast is super simple and little poor.
