The bed was very unconfortable, old.....

Quirky and a bit old fashioned but we loved it. Aquarium and gym in huge reception room, great staff and perfect location.

Clean, comfortable, and located in the centre of Katowice, making for convenient travel to and from the train and bus station via the old town (we frequently went to this part of the city for dinner and lunch and couldn’t recommend Spodek more for location).
Some facilities, such as the pool, were not open, which was not reflected on the site. Additionally, the bathrooms are slightly outdated regarding utilities (our room had a very low powered/inefficient hairdryer which made for a bit of annoyance) and people may find the rooms on the older side (though I personally do not find that an issue as they are very comfortable).
