Sant'Elmo Holiday Residence

The view was fabulous, at all times of day and night - spectacular moon rise! The house was quaint and cute, loved the design and furnishings. The nearby town (not walkable, you have to drive) had everything we needed, and Google AI found us some excellent beaches and restaurants hidden away in the local area. The staff were friendly and responsive to our requests.

A comfy lounge for watching TV would have been nice, and we were surprised Netflix/smart TV was not available, considering the cost of this villa. The rubbish was such an issue - everything had to be separated Italian-style (which you don't have to do in most accommodation we have stayed in), but there were no bins at the property for this! You had to walk a long way (or drive) from our villa to find the communal bins, which were only open a couple of hours a day at most inconvenient times for us - this was such a pain in the neck, we would never stay there again. Such a shame, because it's a beautiful place... The other thing that seemed ridiculous considering the price was that there was no free wifi (!!) Such as it was (not great) we had to pay for it. Really inconvenient. Beware the 'hot water' trap - always check it's switched on when you arrive, as it takes time to heat up, and in our villa the switch was really hidden away.

Residence favoloso. Premesso che mi hanno fornito un upgrade, quindi sicuramente la mia esperienza e' stata oltre le mie aspettative per questo. La casa che mi hanno assegnato aveva un grande giardino, dove il bambino si e' divertito in tutta sicurezza. Vicinissimo alla spiaggia, si va a piedi in meno di 4/5 minuti. Bel mare, bella spiaggia (non la migliore della sardegna sicuramente, ma di certo molto meglio di moltissime belle spiaggie italiane)servizi vicini (ristorante e supermercati). Personale disponibile. Ci tornerei domani.

Mi e' piaciuto tutto, ma e' giusto anche riportare eventuali situazioni. Mi hanno fornito un upgrade, quindi la casa non era quella che avevo scelto. Ero convinto, ma potrebbe essere stato un mio errore, che la casa che avevo scelto fosse su un solo livello, quindi senza scale interne, ed avendo un bimbo sarebbe potuto essere un problema, invece la casa che mi hanno assegnato, che aveva un accesso piu rapido al mare ed un giardino piu grande, era su 2 livelli. Sicuramente un problema con un bimbo piccolo, ma parlando con il personale, non potendomi fornire un cancello per la scala, hanno arrangiato qualcosa per permettermi di vivre li in sicurezza. altra cosa, si 'e guastato uno dei 2 bidet, che e' stato immediatamente riparato. Ripeto, non sono cose che non mi sono piaciute, ma semplicemente le 2 disavventure, che il personale e' riuscito prontamente a risolvere.
