Breakfast was lovely, plenty of it
Dinner - the tenderstem broccoli was not! A couple of our party found it inedible due to the fact it really wasn't cooked. Very hard

Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Im not a cooked breakfast person so yogurt fruit and a pastry was plenty for me my husband had the full English and he said it was one of the best breakfasts he had ever had. Service was quick without being rushed. Evening meal was very good with good choice excellent service and food. We have family living in the area I would stay here again. Bedrooms were good I loved the round bathroom.
The days were warm and sitting outside was a bonus at this time of the year but as the evening drawled on it became a bit chilly. All the outside doors were kept open and it was cold in the bar area. Blankets were given but I would have preferred the outside doors shut..

Location /food ..
The rooms were extremely dusty , a good months worth of cobwebs etc all around the ceilings .. we have stayed here over 20 times and had 4 rooms this time with family so was disappointed..
we did bring this to the attention of the staff who did rectify straight away , but seriously this was extreme. And was not just a little .

"Sitting very quietly and comfortably on the side of the road on the edge of Romsey. A short walk, past some lovely architecture, from the town centre.
I was warmly welcomed and taken to my room. Not..."
