The staff and the location and the room. All were so warm and welcoming that I am already planning my return trip!!

We loved everything about this place. Elegant hotel on the waterfront, with well-appointed and comfortable rooms. Loved the showers. Breakfast was very good with loads of options, including eggs to order. The 6-8 aperitivo hour out on the terrace near the beach was heavenly. We also got a discount at the beach across the street. The real standout, though, was the staff. We had a bit of a hassle with a transit strike and they really took good care of us. Real shout out for Gaia, whose genuine kindness and enthusiasm made our stay.
Nothing. There was absolutely nothing about this hotel we did not enjoy.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice balcony with view over the boulevard. Great breakfast, for Italian standards! Plenty of different cakes and juices to choose from, and Italian coffee of course. The reserved parking spot can be a life saver in high-season, I think! Oh, and there was loud music in the city square, but the excellent sound insulation of the building completely locked out the noise!
Nothing about the hotel itself, really.
Finale Ligure is a bit pricey in general in terms of hotel rates, I guess.
And most parts of the Finale Ligure beach are not freely accessible because they belong to some beach club, so no strolling along the beach in Finale Ligure, unfortunately.

Hotel has a fantastic location, literally in front of the sea. Staff was also extremely kind and professional.
Room is completely missing basic things like coffee/tea machine, cattle for boiling water.
Shower was too dark, bathroom without windows
Worst surprise was breakfast: totally inadequate from all points of views.
