St Kilda Central Apartments

Bed comfortable. Fabulous location. Bathrooms good. Fridge good. Good size rooms. Gardens are lovely. Plenty of tea and coffee bags provided. Curtains/blinds offered good block out coverage.

No one was at reception inside opening hours when we checked in. We had to read various signs to find where to ring to get someone to come down and open reception. We actually had to help other guests with this the following day when they were trying to check in. It was lucky we were there. Even though it was after 2pm, one of our two rooms wasn't ready at all. The furniture in our room had chips in many places; there was swollen particle board revealed on several pieces, as if it had been in a flood. Our tv remote couldn't turn the tv on or off. We had to search around the back of the tv to do these functions each time we wanted to turn it off or on. Carpet floor in our smaller entrance area was stained. Oven didn't come with baking trays. Handles on some windows and taps were broken/loose. Proper cups rather than small tea cups would be great. Sofas were stained and some legs on sofa are on significant angles.

Very comfortable and good facilities. Check in was easy and the receptionist was lovely and helpful.

TV didn’t work. Was told a new one on way. Dishwasher didn’t work was told technician was coming. The worst part is we were not informed about this on check in. We were two couples but the only had one key. In the kitchen we had 3 breakfast bowls, 3 glasses, 3 sauces and I small packet dishwashing liquid that only did 1 wash. On the outside patio a table and 2 outdoor chairs. Obviously nobody worries about the detail.
