The accommodation is in an old freehouse and was able to keep that atmosphere. The staff was friendly and supportive and the bed was nice. The location next to the Selby Abbey in the middle of the centre is great.
The hotel is (very) old and could use an update. At the one hand it is the charm, on the other hand it all looks sllghtly worn down. Unfortunatly they don't serve breakfast (but there are some other places to have breakfast around).

The Location is ideal for me as my son lives in Selby, so its perfect for a catch up, its also right next door to the Abbey.
no longer offer food and the cleanliness of the room, my partner found a pair of women's pants from a previous guest in our room and the rooms could do with an upgrade.
