The apartment was a good size, and the owners had thought of everything a guest might like. We liked the coffee machine that used ground coffee (rather than pods), provision of toiletries, lovely soft towels and the kitchen having a fridge, microwave/grill and hob. It was also nice that there was enough cutlery and crockery for four, and four chairs so that you could have a couple of friends for a meal. Having a shared laundry in the basement was also very useful, as we had been travelling for some time, so it was great to get clothes washed properly. The fact that the equipment and towels etc were all branded Vision Apartments and the way everything was set up was reminiscent of an upmarket hotel.

I don't think Vision Apartments provided directions to find it, and we worked it out ourselves and took the tram to the WaffenPlatzStrasse stop and then had quite a walk. We later found that there was a bus stop not far away, so it would be helpful if the instructions included clear directions and bus/tram numbers and stops to get to the property. The code system for access to both the main entrance and the apartment worked fine, but the outside light was a bit dim so not so easy to read the keypad. Also, several lights on the stair were out, so a bit dark, but these were all very minor issues and certainly did not spoil our enjoyment of probably the best apartment we have stayed in. I reported them by email and got a response to say they would sort, so all good there.

Spacious apartment with balcony. Very comfortable bed and lots of storage space. Very clean.

Bathroom small and cramped but did the job. Check in and check out times seem non negotiable even by a few minutes!

Good

No proper fan working . We asked for other fan. One we got was broken even not stand on its own . No extra pillow and towels.

I really liked that the accommodation was in a calm, quiet location, yet still conveniently located. We also liked that we had the option to make coffee, boil water, cook, and dine there. We appreciated the self check-in. Access was quick and easy. We also liked that although we had to pay extra for the parking space, it was actually available, so we always had a spot. (We’ve experienced at other accommodations that even if we paid in advance, no space was available.)

I didn’t like that the shower head was very dirty, broken, and leaking water. It definitely needs to be replaced, as the rubber has been damaged by mold. Additionally, several LED lights started flickering after about 15 minutes and then went out. We waited a bit and turned them back on; they worked for a while, but then started flickering again in the same way. The lighting in the bathroom is very poor, and it’s also yellow. We arrived for my best friend’s wedding, and it would have been great if I could have done my makeup properly, but because of this I had to use my tablet’s camera to apply it. It would have been better to have a light directly above or next to the mirror so it wouldn’t be so dark. The wardrobe had a slightly strange smell, so we didn’t use it. Also, the power outlets were not the standard European type, which we hadn’t expected, but we managed. Additionally, there was only one blanket, and the pillows were very small and flat, which was quite uncomfortable. This should be clearly indicated in the description. If we had known this in advance, we would have brought an extra blanket and larger pillows with us. We would really like to come back because the accommodation is in a great location, but if these issues are not fixed, we will have to choose another place to stay.
