This is a cosy little apartment in a quiet location in Lauterbrunnen. The place is tired and has a few challenges, but is still nice to stay. With the village being very busy during the day it is a nice quiet retreat. Easy walking distance (with luggage) from the train station, makes it a good central point in this gorgeous region. The location surrounded by trees is a big contrast to the mountain views. Both very nice!
The house needs a bit of work, in particular when it comes to lighting. A bedside light without a lightbulb, the light above the kitchen bench broken, a ceiling light missing some bulbs and a light on the wall hanging by on a thread are not good for a holiday property, especially for this price. We asked the owner to provide us with some details about the (complicated Swiss) garbage system and we never received a reply.

Central location within walking distance of cable cars and train station. The accommodation is as in the pictures, so no surprises there.
The owner/host would have to spend a few days clearing the lot. Trees and bushes are very tall and grow next to the balcony and hide the otherwise fine view of the valley. Lots of flies and ants that come into the house so you can't keep the balcony door open. And the TV remote control is still broken as it was June 2022 according to a previous review. On arrival, an hour before we had still not received information about key etc. after a phone call to the host, we got information about the key, then we didn't hear anything more from the host, not even before check-out. And then we had to find the tourist office ourselves to pay the local tax, which the hosts always take care of earlier.
