The spread of breakfast was excelelnt with choice of south, north and continentnal cusine. The staff were excellent and there was avery personalised servie. The chef enquired about the quality of food and sought views. Overall, it was an excelelnt experience.

Overall impression of the hotel was very good. It exceeded my expectations and has earned its 5 stars. Staff were very attentive and friendly, cleanliness and state of the overall property was high and the room, to include the bed, was comfortable. Unfortunately, I only had one night here and would have enjoyed more nights.

The breakfast had a good variety of veg and non-veg options, accompanied by a nice live flute performance. The staff were very helpful, and a special mention goes to Vikrant for taking great care of us. The dinner buffet options were also great, with a very polite and attentive team. Additionally, the happy hour club benefit was memorable thanks to Prahlad and Krishna, and we enjoyed the live sitar and evening music around the property. The room was spacious. The property also has a great game room for children where my son thoroughly enjoyed playing table tennis, snooker, carom, and badminton—special thanks to the male staff member stationed there who provided great service and even taught my son how to play snooker. The pool and gym looked great as well.

We booked a Royal Mughal Suite for a birthday celebration for my husband and son, but the experience fell well short of expectations. As we saw from other reviews, suite guests are supposed to be escorted to a special Royal Mughal Suite client reception area upon arrival; however, the staff had no clue about this, and no special reception or hospitality was given to us at all. Instead, the reception staff seemed cold and clueless. Despite advance requests, the room was not ready when we arrived, and the promised cakes and balloons for the birthdays were entirely missed. Our supposedly surprise for my child was completely ruined. When we asked, they brought a cake without candles, and when candles finally arrived, there was no lighter, forcing us to escalate the issue to the manager (though the manager did try to make up for it with a complimentary dinner). To add to the frustration, the salon service was poor; the male staff member washing and drying hair seemed unwell or unfit to work, and I did not enjoy the experience at all. Furthermore, many parts of the hotel were continuously being renovated, which made it very uncomfortable—including the only male restroom at the reception, which broke down and was out of service. To make matters worse, there were construction workers using loud drills on the tiles around the poolside during the day while guests were trying to use the pool, causing a lot of unnecessary disturbance that could easily have been scheduled at another time. The room, although spacious, is overall quite old, needing a proper renovation, and features squeaky floors that were annoying at night. Finally, the billing desk made mistakes at checkout by adding items we hadn't ordered, which delayed our departure. "Big reputation, little substance".
