Room good and food very good.
I have said this in previous reviewsb that you could hear alot of noise on early morning deliveries and kitchen setup for breakfast. I wouldn't let that stop me booking in the future.

The free parking at the rear of the hotel was a bonus. The pub had a lively, quirky atmosphere and the (deluxe) room was quite spacious and clean.
The location of the room, at the front, facing the high street above the bar, meant it was quite noisy. There was live music in the evening although this stopped around 10.30pm, and a truck outside woke us quite early. There was also noise from someone walking around at night in the room above.

Our room was clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and standard double bed. Unfortunately though, being in an old building, it had sloping ceilings throughout, which made using the bathroom and getting in and out of bed very awkward for my tall husband. The cooked breakfast was excellent: the eggs benedict and breakfast flatbread were particularly good. But I was bit disappointed that there were no extra items, such as fruit and yogurt - even fruit juice had to be ordered and paid for separately.
We booked this hotel because it advertised on-site parking, which is a rarity in the centre of Lymington. But although there were enough parking spaces for all the rooms (15) and the hotel was clearly far from full, it was often very hard to get a parking space, in which case you have to use the public long stay car park down the road. The car park was also very hard to find, with only the vaguest of directions provided. But all in all we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the Angel & Blue Pig as a no frills option in the centre of Lymington.
