Lima Wari Hotel Boutique

It’s a beautiful property with a very welcoming front only matched by the staff- always present at the front desk. Safety is taken seriously as the front reception has to buzz open the locked gate. I wanted the king size bed room. It was located right next to the reception, but really I never heard much noise at all. The ceilings are very high and our room had a fan which helped keep the room cool. That said- if you ever get a hot day in Lima some might find it uncomfortable. The room had a desk, a fridge, a very nice shelf for putting items in place and even a big closet with hangers. The nice surprise was robes and a hair dryer. And 2 rolls of toilet paper!! Yay!! The entrance to the bathroom is a little tight, but the sink has shelves built in which was really nice to see. Also the toiletries provided are a nicer quality. Now the bed came with 2 sleeping pillows and 2 decorative cushions. It satisfied my need for 4 pillows fine and the bed was that perfect combo or form, but bouncy.

As mentioned above- the fan had 1 speed- as far as I could tell- so some might find it a bit warm if the day or night was hot. My biggest complaint was the breakfast. We have stayed at so many different levels of offerings - some places really put effort into having different breakfast items each day- some places have barely any food. This place had 4 options. I got an omelet - it was somehow overcooked and undercooked 😨. The toast is very generic white. The fruit was good and fresh, but the juice seemed artificial and again the same each day. 2nd morning I just had a ham and cheese sandwich- which again was barely melted and again with that cheap white bread. Oh well- at least it was included in the price.
