APA Hotel Ginza Shintomicho Ekimae

The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, but after just a 10-minute walk you are right in the middle of all the restaurants, shops and entertainment. There are several APA hotels in the area, so we initially went to the wrong one, but luckily they are all within about a 5-minute walk of each other. The room size is typical for a Japanese hotel, but the space was very well designed, with practical areas for storing luggage and belongings. Everything was clean and comfortable. Both check-in and check-out were quick and completely hassle-free.

Nothing in particular. Just be aware that there are several APA hotels with similar names in the area, so it can be easy to mix them up at first.

Location was great. Very clean. Staff were okay.

The hotel so there were not many facilities.

Pricey but worth the money. Clean and provide you with everything you need for your stay including amenities and yukata (kind of a traditional nightwear). Definitely will stay again in the same chain hotels in the next visit in Japan. A huge plus is a view from the window on the highest floor where our room was located.

Self check in was a bit messy, I’d prefer that with given price for the room it would be assisted by a hotel worker because it’s uncomfortable after a long journey to scan your passport yourself and do everything as if you’re checking in a cheap hostel or something like that.

The place were the hotel is situated was a discovery: not the place of Tokyo to visit, but an interesting neighbourhood.

It is in fact a bit far from Tokyo station. Rooms are quite small... and being on the 10th floor is a pain when there is only one elevator to move. Beware, there are two hotels with basically the same name.
