Childwall Abbey, Liverpool by Marston's Inns

The pub B&B was great. The staff were very helpful be it very busy. The room was lovely. I was able to park my bicycle in the meeting room so was secure. Bed was comfy. Shower was great. Clean. Breakfast was very good as was Beckey David with exceptional service. The pub was close to the Trans Pennine Trail (Southport to Hornsea) which I was doing at the time. I was able to in the evening cycle to Liverpool city centre and see the sights and have a nice Wetherspoons dinner with Old Rosie cider (yum, yum) . Thank you.

It was up a hill. The first hill I came across along the Trans Pennine Way.

Friendly staff and good service. Reasonably priced food. Decent choice of beers.

The large hot water tank in the cupboard in the bedroom made the room quite warm and the window had a restrainer on so could only be opened a modest amount.
